Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders & Exhibitors Association of Washington is proud to sponsor a open breed youth program. This program is open to youth ages 6 to 18 of all disciplines.
Peninsula Youth Riders operates in parts of Pierce and Kitsap county at this time. The leaders are made up of a Director, Adviser, and a council of elected youth members.
Our goal is to:
Empower our youth with a thriving learning environment.
Encourage mentoring throughout our equine community.
Educating our youth with a diverse knowledge and skill base that will grow with them into adulthood.
We offer:
Group Lessons: We use group lessons to help riders grow in their communication with their partner and enjoy collaboration with others.
Clinics: Clinics are used to assist in education. Some clinics subjects are nutrition, first add, ground manners, ect.
Fun show/Horse shows : We either put on or go to events that have a discounted rate for our member to be able to participate.
Social Events: That's right! We like to get together for FUN!
